Valentine Yoga Evening in aid of Tiny Tickers
Friday 15th February, 7.30-9.30pm, WI Hut, Hartley Wintney
1 in 125 babies are born each year in the UK with a congenital heart defect. Many of these are undetected in pregnancy and 1000 newborns leave hospital each year with an undetected heart condition, putting them in grave danger. Tiny Tickers aim to raise awareness of congenital heart defects and to prevent unnecessary deaths in babies by providing training to sonographers to detect heart issues. They also provide pulse oximeters to hospitals to help pick up heart issues and they provide support and information to parents of babies with heart problems to help them through their terrifying journey.
We were one of the families that benefitted from their work and our baby will be turning one during heart week. To celebrate this success story and to help other babies like ours, I am offering you an evening of heart-focussed yoga. A gentle flow to awaken and connect with your heart centre, some relaxation and meditation and of course some yummy heart-healthy treats and tea. The event is suitable for anyone and everyone, yogis and non-yogis and ALL proceeds will go to Tiny Tickers. There is no fee – just give whatever you can and enjoy immersing yourself in a cosy, lovely evening all for you! Just click the link below and you’re in!
