One Breath, One Body, One Mind

At One Yoga we believe that everyone should have the chance to experience the benefits of yoga. We endeavour to make classes accessible to those who may otherwise find it difficult to attend, due to busy lives, physical or emotional difficulties or who just believe that they are not flexible enough! Each session is tailored to every student’s needs and we foster a balance of challenging oneself with self-respect. We aim to give all our students the opportunity to experience unity of mind, body and breath.

Yoga allows us to reach the goal of life that is to live worthily”  (B.K.S. Iyengar)

“ Yoga can change your life in so many ways, from preventing disease and aiding recovery from illness to developing self confidence, inner peace and focus. And now there’s growing evidence to prove how the ancient practice can improve our modern lives. We all deserve to make the most of our lives and change starts now in this moment. ”

Type of Yoga

One Yoga

Jane’s vinyasa classes include the essential elements of Hatha yoga; breathing exercises, postures, meditation and relaxation. Each class will have a different focus but will be based upon sun salutations followed by deeper posture practice with a focus on alignment. Group classes are held weekly, and are suitable for everyone, regardless of age, experience or flexibility. Private 1:1 and small group classes can also be arranged for those who prefer to practice at home with a more personalised focus. You do not need to be flexible to do yoga and whether in a group class or private session, the session will be tailored to your ability and goals.

Mamaste

Mamaste is a holistic women’s wellbeing service, offering pre and post-natal yoga classes, yoga for fertility, mindfulness courses and talking therapies for any issue relating to fertility, pregnancy and motherhood. Whether you’re a woman thinking about having a baby, struggling to conceive, expecting or are a new mum, then practising specifically adapted yoga can offer many benefits to you and your baby. Trying to, or actually becoming a mother can be overwhelming in various ways and many women find that they struggle with negative thinking and difficulties managing their emotions in the pre or postnatal period. Mindfulness and talking therapies can provide a better understanding of our emotions and strategies with which to manage ourselves and our lives more effectively, at such a challenging time.
