One Breath, One Body, One Mind

I believe that everyone should have the chance to experience the benefits of yoga. With One Yoga, I endeavour to make classes accessible to those who may otherwise find it difficult to attend, due to busy lives, physical or emotional difficulties or who just believe that they are not flexible enough! Each session is tailored to every student’s needs and I foster a balance of challenging oneself with self-respect. I aim to give all of my students the opportunity to experience unity of mind, body and breath.
“Yoga allows us to reach the goal of life that is to live worthily” (B.K.S. Iyengar)
Jane Golabek
I am a fully insured yoga instructor, accredited with the Yoga Alliance Professionals as a RYT-200 yoga teacher. I completed my yoga teacher training at the Jilandra School of Yoga in 2017, under the inspirational Jill Jones, and have been teaching a variety of styles of yoga since qualifying. I went on to complete further training in pre- and postnatal yoga and yoga for fertility with the internationally renowned Cherie Lathey at Yoga Mama in London in 2018. I am also a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and hold professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, an Associate Fellowship with the British Psychological Society and memberships with the Association for Contextual and Behavioural Science. Over the past 5 years, I have become more interested in learning about holistic approaches and the power of plants and in 2020 I completed training with Doterra to become a registered Essential Oil Specialist. Through my love of yoga, interest in holistic therapies and extensive psychological training, I am able to support men and women of all ages to make the most of their bodies and to live life to its fullest potential.
Offerings
One Yoga
One Yoga vinyasa (flow) classes include the essential elements of Hatha yoga; breathing exercises, postures, meditation and relaxation. Each class will have a different focus and will be adapted to the needs and ability of the students in class. Online group classes are held weekly, and are suitable for everyone, regardless of age, experience or flexibility. Private 1:1 and small group classes can also be arranged for those who prefer to practice at home with a more personalised focus. You do not need to be flexible to do yoga and whether in a group class or private session, the session will be tailored to your ability, your body and your intention.
Mamaste
Mamaste is a holistic women’s wellbeing service, offering pre and post-natal yoga. I can also offer yoga for fertility for couples or individuals either as a standalone or to complement fertility treatment. Mamaste Yoga sessions also incorporate mindfulness and compassion-focussed therapy in order to support you on your journey through fertility to motherhood. Trying to, or actually becoming a mother can be overwhelming in various ways and many women find that they struggle with negative thinking and difficulties managing their emotions in the pre or postnatal period. Whether you’re a woman thinking about having a baby, struggling to conceive, expecting or are a new mum, then practising yoga which is specifically adapted to this phase of life can offer many benefits to you and your baby. Pregnancy yoga sessions with a focus on supporting the changes in the body during pregnancy, developing effective strategies for managing labour and the early post-natal period, helping to manage difficulties such as pelvic girdle pain, carpal tunnel and back issues, connecting with baby and building strength, confidence and a mindful approach to labour and motherhood.
Each candelit session incorporates breathing exercises, pelvic floor exercises and yoga postures, followed by a lovely long relaxation which is so important for pregnant mummies!
There are also added sessions available on request such as essential oils for pregnancy, labour and babies; the positive birth movement; hypnobirthing and midwife Q&As.
Mums are asked to bring a pillow and blanket for support during postures and to enjoy during relaxation. The session is informal and mums are encouraged to share experiences, hopes and fears as much as they feel willing to do so. Having fun and making friends are all part of the experience!
Mamaste Mum and Baby Yoga
